Who should use our Dog Walking Service?
Our dog walking and play visits can be very helpful to pet owners that are busy. And we know that applies to just about everyone today ~ perhaps both of you work, maybe you are tied up with kids sporting events or you are alone and just can't be home all the time. When families large or small are busy, it usually is "Rufus" that comes last. People that work all day and find it difficult to provide their dogs with activity and attention during the day should consider our services to help out. Anyone that lives in an apartment community or other close space that needs to provide their pet with ample activity to avoid behavioral problems should also consider us. Boredom and inactivity are primary causes of behavior issues with many dogs. A tired dog is a happy dog and that usually means a happy OWNER as well!
How do we get started?
First, we recommend that you consider how much activity your pet now receives. General guidelines suggest at least a half hour of activity each day. Dogs especially are meant to be active. If your pet is a lounge lizard and does not exercise enough, he or she may be over weight, may demonstrate destructive behavior (for instance: chewing on shoes, wood moldings in your home, or other inappropriate items, he or she may be marking in your home, and inactivity can lead to other issues such as separation anxiety or excessive barking while left alone) and may be more difficult to train.
If this sounds like your pet, please give us a call. The simple act of exercise and activity for your pet can help change their behavior in most cases. I am happy to speak with you about dog walks and play visits to help you have a healthy and happy pet! While we are not animal trainers, we can help you with the basics of proper exercise, walking on a leash and simple commands. Please feel free to call us at 781-733-4870.
Who should use our pet sitting services?
Well, every pet owner! It is our goal to provide the same kind of care to your pets that you would provide yourself. And most animals thrive on routine. It just makes sense to have us care for your pet in their own environment. We can provide you with services that range from simply feeding the bird to caring for your dog and cat while you are on vacation for a week. There are many possibilities. That is why a consultation with us is so important. We can help provide you with a better understanding of how we can help and how your pets can remain happy during your absence. This may mean we visit three times a week while you work or it may mean a week of services provided several times a day while you go to that sunny island destination. A plan that meets your needs can be settled on no matter what the length of your absence is.
In addition, you will find that our complimentary services of light rotation, bringing in your mail and watering your house plants helps provide your home with the appearance that someone is present. And your pets will thank you for the continuity in their routine. Nothing can be more upsetting than returning from a vacation to a pet that is distressed. Pawesome Pals, LLC is here to help you!
